A bit of organic pattern and shape…

Coming from the world of film made me a bit of a purest so as a result this would be my first black and white post.  For some reason I was never able to feel comfortable about converting my color digital images to black and white just based on the fact it wasn’t shot on black and white film. Back in the day I spent countless hours in the darkroom (gulp…starting 20 years ago) developing the perfect black and white shot with my countless rolls of Kodak Tmax 100 bulk loaded film. Hours spent under the darkroom lights or in the dark loading and developing film and prints. It was always my comfortable home away from home. As time moved on my access to darkrooms waned and I just didn’t think in black and white anymore. Well I have come back around and become more realistic in my view and thought maybe it is time to revisit the black and white image. Time to turn over a new leaf and discover what my current world has to offer. Time to utilize the digital darkroom that I have right here at my fingertips…welcome back old friend.
